Moisture sensors (Moisture Probes) have a wide range of application mainly in concrete plants, prefabricated building materials, glass, cast factories, food, ceramics and animal feed industries.
Moisture probes are supplied as capacitive, microwave and HPR (High Frequency Polar Reflective) types, together with their indicators.
Microwave moisture probes are developed with the latest microprocessor technology. The system is complete with easy-to-use software for the probe calibration and configuration.
Moisture probes can be used in silos, aggregate hoppers, belt conveyors and aggregate weighing hoppers. It is possible to take measurements during aggregate weighing, thanks to their reading speed of 25 reads per second. At the same time they are also able to measure the material temperature.
The sensor surface is covered with ALBIT ceramic for resistance against abrasion of hard material.
Microwave sensors can be used with counter-current planetary mixers, pan mixers, twin-shaft and single shaft mixers.
The microwave sensor has an extremely wear-resistant ceramic surface (10mm) and robust electronics.
The measured values of the sensor are calculated via two separate 0-20mA current outputs located inside the sensor. The first output sends raw signal in real-time, the second output is an average value calculated by the sensor.
